Data Entry Specialist – Temp - Hybrid, Mill Valley - $25-$30/hour
We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual to assist with annual HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act) reporting, a federal requirement for mortgage lenders. HMDA reporting involves compiling detailed data on mortgage originations into a standardized spreadsheet for regulatory submission. Most data is auto populated, but some fields require manual lookup and entry from loan files.

Location: Mill Valley, CA or Remote

Schedule: Full-time or slightly less; flexible after training

Duration: Starts January 19, ends by March 1 (may finish early)
Key Responsibilities:

Review mortgage loan files and extract required data

Enter missing data points into HMDA reporting spreadsheet

Maintain accuracy and meet productivity goals (approx. 50 data points/hour after training)
Requirements:

Fast and accurate data entry experience

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently after training

Prior experience in mortgage or financial services preferred but not required
