Quality Control Inspector Role with Steady Day Shift & Growth Potential

Job Highlights
Pay: Starting at $17/hour, with increases based on experience
Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: North Houston area
Schedule: Consistent weekday hours
Environment: Manufacturing/production setting with required PPE
Responsibilities
Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections
Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and hand tools
Verify first article pieces and production documentation
Ensure proper identification and documentation related to production jobs
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including waste elimination and cycle time reduction
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety standards and procedures
Meet attendance and punctuality requirements to support production goals
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours per day)
Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear
