Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Our client in Hamilton, is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler.   This position is temp to hire for the right candidate.   This is a full time position, Monday thru Friday. This position will offer $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Main responsibility is soldering wires to terminals, PCB Boards, other wires, etc.
2. Mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and main assemblies
3. Test assemblies using a multi-meter measuring resistance mostly
4. Ability to read/interpret assembly drawings/schematics
5. Organized and able to follow instructions

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of soldering experience
2. Experience working in electronics, manufacturing or assembly industry
3. Experience with measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.) a plus
4. Experience with ISO/AS quality system a plus
5. IPC 610 and/or 620 and J Standard Certification a plus
