Maintenance Coordinator – Property Management
Location: Bossier City, LA
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Maintenance Coordinator to join a busy property management team overseeing approximately 300 homes. This role is responsible for handling incoming maintenance work orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely communication between tenants, owners, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process maintenance work orders from tenants
Assign work orders to appropriate vendors and track progress through completion
Communicate effectively with tenants, property owners, and vendors via phone, text, and email
Follow up to ensure work is completed to satisfaction and invoices are processed for payment
Greet clients and visitors at the front desk and assist with general office duties
Answer phones and direct calls as part of a shared office responsibility
Create and manage work orders from start to finish, maintaining detailed records
Carry a 24-hour emergency phone after six months of employment
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent computer and organizational skills
Prior property management experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to multitask and manage multiple work orders efficiently
