Pay Rate/Range: $18.00-$28.00/hour, DOE

Read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and blue prints.
Assemble and mount burners to boilers for testing.
Pipe oil lines, gas trains, feed water systems and steam headers to boilers.
Perform mounting and reading of test instruments, recording readings and test data with knowledge of normal parameters. Maintain well-organized written reports and project records in such a manner that the results can be analyzed and used by others.
Maintain a neat, clean, orderly and functional work area at all times, insure compliance with all safety rules and standards.
Assist Technician Manager in any lab, service and R&D functions as required.
Must be willing to travel
Possess an electrical and electronic knowledge base, proven mechanical abilities with basic assembly and wiring knowledge and use of hand tools.
Ability to follow safety rules with a focus on Quality.
Proficient in setting up and troubleshooting all standard versions of the JB burner, JBS/HDS burner and parallel positioning controls- (w/VFD, RWF40…) .
Advanced electrical troubleshooting on complex jobs (nonstandard VFD, RWF40 .. ).
Proficient in performing IL, DEP, CSA and UL tests parameters per standards.
Proficient with handling service calls via phone and/or email correspondence.
Ability to perform R&D work (Analysis, ideas & problem solving) .
Assembly Class B, knowledge and understanding of piping and ability to build different versions of burners i.e.: MP, MR, MA & gas burners.
Advanced wiring capabilities of Class B Panels.
Travel as needed to resolve issues at customer sites, assist in start-ups, and perform field service and burner application testing.
Prudent & safe operation of customer’s equipment.
Troubleshoot; cause and effect analysis.
Write trip report clearly so that Engineering personnel can re-construct what was done to resolve the problem.
Interact with customers positively to resolve field problems, satisfy the needs of customers while minimizing the costs and liabilities of the company.
