 Admin/Ops Manager

 

Our client is looking for an individual that has an opportunity for a self-driven, experienced Administration and Operations professional who has the capacity to manage and lead a team to manage our 4 person administration team and 3 person warehouse team.

 

Job Overview:

- Faithfully executes the company’s business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives.

- Integrates all Administration and Inventory Management functions of the business.

- Leads, manages, and holds the administrative team of 4 and warehouse team of 3 accountable for meeting objectives. Ensures the administration and team is functional and cohesive.

- Resolves issues effectively – seeing real problems, comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and constructive manner.

- Ensures that Administration and Warehouse team adheres to the company’s core processes and operating system with consistency.

- Demonstrates effective project management skills.

- Dependably demonstrates a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity.

- Effectively collaborates with the General Manager of the company and stays on the same page. Possesses an ability to filter and translate the administration and warehouse team’s ideas into functional action plans.

 

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with company’s outsourced virtual accounting and finance department and oversee and/or be personally responsible for the following:

AR/Collections, AP, Purchasing, Daily Deposits, Scheduling, Invoicing, Job Costing and Multi Jurisdiction Sales Tax Filings

- Oversee warehouse Inventory accuracy & facilities maintenance (1 location)

- Establish and Maintain Internal controls

- Challenge current processes / systems and design improvements

 

Job Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in Administration and Accounting

- 5+ years of management and/or supervisory experience

- Job costing / Commercial Construction experience preferred

- Inventory Management experience preferred

- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required in lieu of experience

- Highly Organized and detail oriented

 

Reports to the General Manager

 

Monday through Friday

8:00 AM-5 PM

 

$50,000 - $60,000 Annually, Benefit Package includes Health Insurance, plus annual bonuses, Company IRA matching retirement plan and PTO

 

 

Ideal candidate would be a Player/Coach mentality as Manager

Must have proficient computer skills, MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook

Act as liaison to outside Management Individuals

Oversee and supervise the Accounting Department, so you must have knowledge of AP, AR, Purchase Requisites/Orders, and Cycle Counting, Purchasing

Inventory Management required.

Have the ability to implement client retention measures

Managed and balance warehouse and office procedures

 

Managing 50+ People.

Reports to the General Manager

 

Monday through Friday

7:30 AM-5 PM

 

$50,000 - $60,000 Annually, Benefit Package
