We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our client's healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.

  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.

  • Handle phone inquiries, providing information about services, procedures, and insurance coverage, including Medicare.

  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for patient management and data entry.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments.

  • Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of medical office management practices and procedures.

  • Proficiency in medical billing processes and familiarity with insurance claims, particularly Medicare.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.

  • Preferrably bilingual Spanish
