Maintenance Tech - Wellington

Manpower his currently seeking a skilled Commercial Maintenance employee for a Medical facility in Wellington.

This position is Full Time - 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Ability to respond to on-call issues 24/7)

$20.43/hr

Perform corrective and preventative maintenance following all applicable company procedures and safety rules/practices. This work could include the following:

• Diagnose and repair plumbing problems including drain traps, heaters, hot water systems, disposal, faucets, valves, sinks, toilets, drinking fountains, pumps, etc.

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems including incandescent or fluorescent lighting systems, ballasts, outlets and motors.

• Respond to heating, ventilating, and air conditioning calls.

• Minor roof repairs.

• Door repair and adjustments.

• Troubleshoot building components.

• Diagnose and repair irrigation system problems including heads and rotors.

• Landscape replacement and light maintenance.

• General carpentry and painting as needed.

• Trash pick-up and other miscellaneous work.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial maintenance.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to travel between different work sites in Palm Beach County.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently with little or no on-site supervision.

• Ability to respond to on-call issues 24/7.

• HVAC certification preferred but not required.
