Commercial Construction Project Manager:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction project from inception to completion.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

  • Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.

  • Procure necessary permits and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures when possible.

  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.

  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, addressing concerns of stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

  • Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

  • Evaluate and select subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and overseeing their work performance.

  • Manage project risk by identifying potential obstacles and developing contingency plans.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

  • Ensure quality control measures are in place and followed throughout the construction process.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Site Supervisor:

  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks.

  • Supervise and manage on-site labor, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Enforce safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any hazards or violations.

  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications, providing guidance to workers as needed.

  • Monitor progress and quality of work, identifying and addressing any issues or deficiencies.

  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work hours, materials used, and progress achieved.

  • Communicate regularly with the project manager and other stakeholders to provide updates on site progress and address any concerns.

  • Resolve conflicts or disputes among workers or subcontractors, maintaining a productive work environment.

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permit requirements.

  • Coordinate with equipment operators and ensure proper utilization and maintenance of construction machinery.

  • Conduct regular site meetings to discuss project status, goals, and objectives with the team.

  • Assist in the implementation of quality control measures, ensuring work meets project standards.

  • Manage site logistics, including site access, storage of materials, and waste disposal.

  • Serve as a point of contact for any on-site issues or emergencies, coordinating responses and solutions as needed.
