The Data Entry Clerk will support the Office of General Counsel by assisting with entering, updating and verifying data in university’s database systems. This is a part-time, 19 hour a week position.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scanning hard copy documents into a database system

  • Accurately type data from hard copy documents into database system (Certificates of Insurance, License, Permits, and Contracts)

  • Identify and correct data entry errors

  • Maintain database by entering new and updated Certificates of Insurance, License, Permits, and Contracts

  • Distribute relevant database reports to departments as needed

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware

  • Experience with computer software such as Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Attention to detail

  • Some legal experience would be a plus

 

Assignment duration: potential to last 3 months

 

Schedule: M-F; 9a – 5p

 

$16 - $18/hr.
