Manpower is representing a client in the Jupiter area that is seeking a Part-Time Commercial Maintenance Technician.
Salary: $20.00/hr.
Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day repairs and maintenance of one or more properties.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform corrective and preventative maintenance following all applicable company procedures and safety rules/practices.

Diagnose and repair plumbing problems including drain traps, heaters, hot water systems, disposal, faucets, valves, sinks, toilets, drinking fountains, pumps, etc.

Diagnose and repair electrical systems including incandescent or fluorescent lighting systems, ballasts, outlets and motors

Respond to heating, ventilating, and air conditioning calls

Door repair and adjustments

Diagnose and repair irrigation system problems including heads and rotors

Landscape replacement and light maintenance
-
General carpentry and painting as needed
-
Trash pickup and other miscellaneous work

Conduct and/or assist in the supervision of all preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections for environmental equipment, vertical transportation equipment, all life safety systems, and associated building equipment.

Assist in responding to all emergency situations and perform tasks necessary for the well-being and protection of the property and occupants.
Minimum Requirements:
-
A minimum of 2 recent years of experience in commercial maintenance.

Valid driver’s license.
-
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
-
Ability to work independently with little or no on-site supervision.

Ability to respond to on-call issues 24/7.
-
HVAC certification preferred.
