At our client's company, customers are their top priority! The Customer Service Specialist serves an important day to day role in the company and is responsible for interacting with customers who reach out to the company via phone, email, and website in addition to providing daily support to the team of designers and project managers. Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of organization is a must for this full time position.

What You Will Do:

  • Engage directly with customers via the phone, in person, or email throughout the item ordering process to ensure all aspects are completed to the customers satisfaction and attention to details are preserved.

  • Process purchase orders and prioritize scheduling to the manufacturing department.

  • Take payment information and process.

  • Help customers over the phone navigate through the company catalog and purchase options.

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.

  • Manage Vendor accounts and submit purchase orders.

  • Provide daily support to other members of the team including designers, project managers, and manufacturing staff.

  • Directly serve walk-in customers intent on purchasing product from the showroom and close sales and receive a commission.

  • Resolve customer complaints via phone or e-mail.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal, writing, and listening)

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Regular and reliable attendance

  • 2+ years QuickBooks experience

  • 2+ years of experience in similar role

 

Pay rate:

$14- $16/hr.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
