The Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in the development of compensation practices. The compensation analyst plans, develops and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to be responsive to our client's objectives and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring, through periodic review, that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Monitors the effectiveness and sustainability of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to corporate staff.

  • Designs, evaluates and modifies compensation policies and philosophies. Maintain and modify as needed the Pay Grade Structure, including establishing appropriate minimum, midpoint and maximum of grades and ensuring the spread between the minimum and the maximum is in line with best practices

  • Conducts periodic job analysis to ensure consistency and market equity with our client's pay systems.

  • Maintain and modify, as needed, client's shift differential protocol and other premium pay programs policy to ensure consistency within the organization.

  • Makes recommendations to support compensation strategies for organization wide compensation philosophies, policies and protocol.

  • Provides advice and guidance to HR & Talent Acquisitions team members on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation, including the design of solutions to specific compensation related programs.

  • Develops techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting relative data and recommendations.

  • Conducts and/or identifies salary surveys for purchase to ensure organization compensation objectives are achieved and align with market pay. Identify benchmark (and non-benchmark) jobs to make appropriate recommendations.



  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or business-related field is required, Master's Degree in Human Resources or business related field, preferred.

  • Minimum of five or more (5+) of experience in compensation



  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
