This position is primarily responsible for the assembly, packaging and visual
inspection of components and finished devices. This role is responsible the
movement of raw materials and finished goods to and from the assembly lines.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
? Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
? Perform assembly and packaging of mechanical assemblies utilizing proper tools
and other equipment in accordance with assembly procedures and bills of
? Ensures material is supplied and removed from the line as needed to prevent any
line interruption or delays.
? Open boxes, crates and other containers.
? Remove material waste from production area.
? Transfer material to and from production lines.
? Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to
predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
? Mark material with identifying information.
? Maintain stock accuracy in the production and raw material areas.
? Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and proper identification of stock in production
Communicate effectively with supervisor and other team members.
? Adhere to company rules and regulations to include safety practices and

Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related
experience in a manufacturing environment.
? Medical Device manufacturing experience is a plus.
? Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need
for occasional judgment.
? Ability to read and understand procedures, work instructions, material lists and
bills of material.
? Ability to use common hand tools.
? Ability to perform basic computer operations.
? Ability to function in a team environment.
? Ability to recognize basic component nonconformance.
? Mechanical aptitude.
? Hand-eye coordination.
? Ability to distinguish color.
? Utilizes hand truck or other handling equipment to move material.
? Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered
Work Environment Requirements
? No travel is required.
? Must be able to sit or stand for long periods.
