Seeking an HR Coordinator to cover a 6 month leave with an incredible San Diego company!

About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Temp HR Coordinator to support our high growth organization. This position will have exposure to a broad range of HR/TA activities to help support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resource department. This position will support Talent Acquisition approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities such as scheduling, tracking, reporting, coordinating logistics, etc.

  • Coordinates planning and execution of meetings

  • Supports day-to-day HR operations of the business, including but not limited to compliance, onboarding, offboarding, and employment verifications

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation, with integrity and confidentiality

  • Provide recruitment support, including scheduling interviews, booking candidate travel, processing background checks, processing reimbursements, as well as managing referrals and candidate applications

  • Enter new hire information into Workday (HRIS)

  • Generates custom recruiting reports

  • Serves as subject matter expert on routine employee inquiries and questions

  • Supports existing and new department processes, programs, and initiatives to ensure seamless execution

  • Assists with special projects as needed

  • Performs other duties required and/or as assigned


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred

  • Strong systems orientation and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, use discretion and manage sensitive and confidential information

  • Demonstrated ability to be pro-active, anticipate issues and effectively problem-solve

  • The ability to anticipate complications and search for opportunities of simplifications

  • Excellent professional and personal demeanor, including strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple changing priorities

  • Ability to apply an organized and systematic approach to accomplishing project deliverables

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and Cloud based storage platforms
