Job Description:

 

The recruiter position is responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for clerical, technical, administrative and management positions throughout the company. This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

 

  1. Serves as an expert for recruiting including but not limited to recruiting strategy, processes, and procedures.

  2. Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.

  3. Uses traditional and nontraditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.

  4. Develops advertising programs to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.

  5. Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.

  6. Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.

  7. Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.

  8. Screens and interviews applicants.

  9. Coordinates appropriate employment testing, employment verifications, background checks, and new-hire drug testing

  10. Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  11. Extends verbal and written contingent job offers.

  12. Conducts orientation of new employees.

  13. Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.

  14. Ensure all applicable rules and regulations are adhered to.

  15. Conducts exit interviews with terminating employees.

  16. Completes weekly report on employment activity.

  17. Other duties as required.

 

Requirements:

 

  • BA or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate recruiting experience

  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations for Executive reporting

  • Advanced Excel capabilities

  • Proven ability to source strategically
