We are looking for a Sales Manager with 5-10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. We are a laser repair and refurbishment shop and market to the semiconductor industry domestically and internationally. Someone with a proven sales record in the semiconductor industry and that is technically inclined is the right fit. This individual will help with expanding the business and look into other opportunities that may work with the strengths of the company.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Developing new commercial business and expanding existing OEM business

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and identify new business opportunities

  • Provide accurate quarterly and annual business forecasts and achieve these targets

  • Develop and implement short term and long term business growth strategy to achieve the sales goals

  • Own metrics to analyze and track business performance(market share/penetration, competitive, cost analysis; service strategy requirements)

  • Prepare business summary report on:

  • Competitive activity; pricing, new products

  • Customer visit summary

  • Applications and markets: anything new or relevant, potential future opportunities

  • Any new field sales needs including new products

  • Update on SFDC related and assigned accounts/new accounts.

 

Education and Work Experience:

  • BS in technical discipline

  • Former experience as OEM field or factory engineer AND

  • 5-10 years selling into the semiconductor or semiconductor equipment experience

  • 5+ years in technical sales

  • Coherent or Lambda laser experience highly preferred

  • Sound technical knowledge of photonics, a wide array of laser technologies and familiar with laser applications

  • Excellent written and verbal communications

  • Problem solving skills to be able to negotiation skills

  • Ability to work closely with a team as well as independently

  • Some travel required 40-50%; specially Asia
