A warehouse delivery driver's responsibilities include:
- Deliveries: Pick up and deliver customer orders and inventory in a timely manner.
- - Loading and unloading: Use a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload goods and materials onto and off the truck.
- - Vehicle maintenance: Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report problems to a supervisor. Ensure the vehicle is fueled and ready for use.
- -Warehouse organization: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, and adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- - Inventory: Document the quantity and quality of inventory, and verify stock.
- Communication: Communicate with personnel and outside agencies to exchange information and resolve issues.
- - Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- - Other duties: Assist with warehouse duties as needed, such as packing and unpacking goods, and filling in for absent staff.
Qualifications for a warehouse delivery driver include:
- A high school diploma or GED certificate
- A valid driver's license
- A clean driving record
Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Occasionally Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm
