Job Duties;

Operate CNC press brake machines to shape various types of metal. 

Inspect blueprints for a project, set up your machine, perform regular maintenance, inspect metal while shaping it, and adjust as needed. 

Monitor supply levels, check the final products to ensure they are free of defects, and ensure work areas are clean and organized. 

Fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of a press brake operator requires mechanical skills, attention to detail, physical stamina, math skills to measure materials, and the ability to maintain and repair machines in a time-sensitive environment. 

Communicate and work well with team members to facilitate efficient production.

Read blueprints and drawings to ensure parts are completed accurately. 

Read and understand tooling setups and bend operation procedures. 

Use measuring tools to confirm accurate completed parts. (i.e.) calipers, measuring rules, angle gauges, and sample part fixtures. 

Operate forklift and follow safety procedures. 

Adhere to the production schedule for efficiency. 

Must be able to stand for continuous periods. 

Must possess the ability to effectively communicate, both orally and written to all levels of the organization.
