Forklift/Material Handler 2nd Shift

Description: Responsible for loading, unloading, and storage of materials in a safe and efficient manner, using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment. The Material Handler processes all the material between receiving and shipping requests, ensuring that all products are accounted for, identified correctly, and stored according to standard practices. Will be operating a variety of forklift and overhead cranes. Job Requirements: o Receive and inspect incoming material shipments to verify accuracy and quality. o Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to transport and move heavy materials. o Load and unload materials onto and from trucks, trailers or railcars. o Identify and label material correctly before storage, ensuring accurate inventory control. o Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products according to company protocols. o Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized and tidy. o Process all incoming and outgoing materials and supplies requests to meet production schedules.
