Janitor

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Pay Rate: $18.48

Position Description:

• Cleaning cooling boxes (sides and tops)

• Mechanical scrubbing and vacuuming with electric scrubbers

• Clean animatic filters

• Clean grease leakage on the floor level and upper level

• Power washing and manual scrubbing with soap

• Manual collection of waste bags

• Clean fluff and angel hair on upper floors by the hoppers

• Manual collection of solids

• Wipe down machines

• Remove dust from equipment and surfaces throughout the press area

• Cleaning of grilles and manholes

• Deep clean/hand washer stations manual scrubbing with biodegradable degreasing soap

• Remove dust with dust remover

• Maintain supplies, and stock, to ensure proper operation and safe condition

• Perform cleaning services using proper equipment and supplies and follow safe use and operation procedures

• Clean and detail facilities. Remove trash; dust/clean walls; clean windows

• Clean assigned communal areas, including hallways and stairwells

• Clean spills

• Monitor usage of inventory and supplies

• Maintain a good relationship with workers and customers

• Frequent travel between facilities or buildings may be required

• Perform other duties and special projects assigned

Position Requirements:

• Spanish speaking is okay

• Minimum 2 years of janitorial, building maintenance, or related experience

• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities
