- Must demonstrate expertise in all operations of the forklift and any heavy equipment machines by completing and receiving a passing score on the certification test.
- Responsible for the daily check of the forklift in order to identify any maintenance needs and/or safety issues.
- Accountable for all of the daily operations, cleaning and organizations of the warehouse as directed by management.
- Responsible for loading trucks and unloading raw materials as well as snow removal in the winter months.
- Train new warehouse forklift operators and report the trainee's progress to management.
- Is to use his/her understanding of the safety protocol when completing daily job duties.
- Provide assistance to fellow forklift drivers in the warehouse,shift leader/line director and warehouse manager.
- Must be proficient in the operation of the AS400 and forklift terminal.
- Timely and concise communication to management of any concerns or issues with raw materials, forklift maintenance, quality or safety concerns.
- Willingly assist other departments within the facility as needed and/or directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
This is to include but not limited to fixing any damaged pallets, or restacking pallets as needed.
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
