Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and technical accounting skills, with a proven track record in corporate accounting. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including accounts payable, payroll, and account reconciliation.

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Manage the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

• Conduct technical accounting analysis to support business decisions and strategies.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Utilize QuickBooks for managing financial transactions and reporting.

• Lead the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.

• Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of payroll processes and budgeting techniques.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software tools.

• Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong communication skills to present financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: From $125,000.00 per year
