Water Jet Technician

Responsibilities;

• Water jet cutter operator sets up and operates a water jet cutter

• Designed to cut excess material from a metal workpiece by using a high-pressure jet of water, or an abrasive substance mixed with water.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions or failures

• Maintain accurate records of plant operations and maintenance activities

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions

• Must be able to work out of town/travel for 2-21+ days at a time

Qualifications;

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge of electrical discharge machining, laser cutting, plasma cutting, lathe, and other machining techniques

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Good communication skills for collaborating with team members

• Must have the following

• Valid driver license and clean driving record

• Clean background

• Pass hair follicle, urine, and mouth swab drug test

Pay $15-$20/hr
