PAY RATE: $70K - $100K( SALARY - DOE )

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

DAYS -6:00AM - 2:30PM ( EXEMPT ROLE )

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

Manages the validation and documentation of Client Company compliance to its Quality Assurance Programs (AS9100 & ISO 9001). Performs hands on quality inspection when needed. Has an in depth understanding of IPC 620. Provides direction and training to all departments as it relates to the guidelines and compliance of the standards.

Essential Duties:

• Provide reference and clarification on any quality issues.

• Act as point of contact for all customer quality inquiry.

• Act as point of contact for all supplier quality inquiry

• Develop the skills and abilities of the inspection group based on business and employee needs.

• Problem solving within respected areas. Apply Quality Control and Quality-Assurance methodology from experience, technical schooling, and training. This includes help with troubleshooting and communicating line down situations due to quality issues.

• Coordinate CAPA’s and ensure communicate the investigation results on time to the customers.

• Participate internal and Customer Quality audits.

• Inspects assembly and confirm all documentation for external 1st Article, prepare document to accompany shipment.

• Evaluate and investigate customer returns (RMA)

• Has working understanding of IPC-620 and Mil-STD-2000 as well as AS9100 providing support to all staff, and customers as needed.

• Works with Management Team to plan, provide, or direct training to all assembly staff to ensure their job proficiency.

• Work closely with engineering to develop and update manufacturing instructions as required.

• Additional duties may be assigned if required.

Facility Specific Responsibilities (but not limited to):

 

• Responsible for test equipment and overseeing test processes

• Responsible for all inspection equipment and overseeing inspection processes

• Be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted. Beyond this will require the buddy system or lifting device.

• Ability to stay on feet for prolonged periods of time and mobility to get around facility without limitations.

• Achieve daily tasks which require repetitive use of hands and other body parts

• Ability to sit and work at a station for prolonged periods of time without limitation

• Ability to work in different climates without limitations

 

AUTHORITY:

 

  • Communicating Problems or Opportunities for Improvement to Management so Management can Act On Them.

  • To report documentation requiring revision for improvement.

  • To report any non-conforming product.
