We are hiring Radiator Core Makers to join our team in San Bernardino, CA! LONG TERM ASSIGNMENT!!! ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES!!! HIRE ON OPPORTUNITIES!!!
PAY RATE: $15.50 - $18.00 ( DOE )
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
1st Shift ( MONDAY - FRIDAY ) 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Job Purpose:
A Core Maker is responsible for making HD and ALT radiator cores for client company.
Key Tasks, Responsibilities and Essential Accountabilities:
Production of Radiator Core Components
Assembly of Radiator Core Components to Work Order Specifications
Testing of Radiator Cores
Packaging of Radiator Cores
Maintain good Housekeeping and Hygiene Standards
Promotes the building of quality products by adhering to the quality guidelines as established by Client Company
Promotes a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies as established by the Client Company location
Perform all duties as assigned
Performs other duties as required for the success of Client Company
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Able to take instruction and also work independently when needed
A Core Maker will have the ability to build all the various types of cores built at the regional facility. That ability will include the following
Read and understand a work order for a VT, VTH & Flat Fin core
Measure and cut tubes
Run all fin machines
Assemble core on proper table or stacker
Attach headers
Dip core in solder pot
Test core
Box core
Ability to use logic and reason in dealing with problems
Ability to read and understand work orders
Ability to use and read a tape measure and other measuring tools
Ability to work on a variety of machines to produce the company's products
Ability to use basic hand tools
Ability to be persistent when accomplishing a task or assignment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to perform a repetitive motion for extended periods of time
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of core making equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move items up to 200 lbs with the use of a hand truck or pallet jack
Licensing or Other Special Requirements:
Forklift certification preferred
Education and Experience Required:
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent
