Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team at an extrusion plastic company. The Packer will be responsible for efficiently packing, labeling, and inspecting plastic products to ensure they meet company standards before shipment. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and consistency of our products and requires excellent attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Inspect finished plastic products for quality and ensure they meet production standards. Package and label plastic products according to company specifications. Count, stack, and organize products in preparation for shipment. Operate packaging machinery and assist with other related equipment as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Report any product or machinery issues to the supervisor. Perform other tasks as assigned by the production manager. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing, particularly in the plastic extrusion industry, is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Basic math skills for counting and labeling products. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, and move around for long periods. Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
