Data Entry Clerk – Sales Department Location: Hawkins Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible Saturdays as needed) 13 Job Summary: The Data Entry Clerk for the Sales Department is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining customer and sales-related data in the company systems. This role plays a key part in supporting the sales team by ensuring timely and accurate order processing, account updates, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. Key Responsibilities: Enter customer orders, quotes, and updates into the sales database. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, client information, and pricing changes. Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness before submission. Assist sales reps with data lookups, reporting, and administrative tasks. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, or monthly sales reports as requested. Respond to internal inquiries regarding order status and customer information. Collaborate with other departments (such as accounting and logistics) to ensure data consistency. Support weekend operations on an as-needed basis (occasional flexible Saturdays). Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Previous data entry or administrative experience, especially in a sales environment, is a plus. Strong computer skills, especially with spreadsheets, databases, and CRM tools. Excellent typing speed and accuracy. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
