Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Janitorial/Custodian. The primary responsibilities of this role include maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in designated areas, such as restrooms, offices, and common spaces. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have a strong attention to detail, and ensure that all spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors. Empty and replace trash receptacles in all assigned areas. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated areas as needed. Replenish restroom supplies, such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper. Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, and countertops. Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables properly. Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs. Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance issues. Qualifications: Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs.]), and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
