Job Title: Packer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for carefully packing products for shipment, ensuring each item is securely packed, accurately labeled, and ready for delivery. This position plays a key part in ensuring our products reach customers in excellent condition and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing Products: Pack items into boxes, bags, or containers for shipment, ensuring secure placement to prevent damage during transit.
• Labeling: Apply correct shipping labels, including order details, handling instructions, and delivery addresses, to ensure accurate delivery.
• Quality Control: Inspect items before packing to ensure they meet quality standards, are undamaged, and meet customer expectations.
• Order Fulfillment: Verify quantities and product types for each order to ensure accuracy in packing and order completion.
• Inventory Management: Help organize inventory, ensuring that products are accessible and ready for packing. Report any stock discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Documentation: Complete packing logs and reports to ensure accurate tracking for inventory and shipping purposes.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe workplace.
• Warehouse Organization: Keep the packing area clean and well-organized, ensuring packing materials and supplies are stocked.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with warehouse staff to meet daily production and shipping goals.

Qualifications:

• Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow packing instructions and ensure products are packed securely.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift and carry products (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs.]) as needed.
• Organizational Skills: Capable of staying organized and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math calculations to verify order quantities and accuracy.
• Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
• Punctuality & Reliability: Dependable work ethic with a focus on attendance and meeting deadlines.
• Experience: Prior packing or warehouse experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
