Welder – Structural & Pipe

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team and support a wide range of industrial projects. In this role, you will perform layout, fit-up, and welding tasks across multiple environments, gaining hands-on exposure to modern industrial practices. Work includes structural weldments, pressure vessel construction, and field fitment of piping systems and components. This is an excellent opportunity for welders looking to broaden their experience with diverse equipment and shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout, fit-up, and weld joint completions using a variety of welding procedures.

• Work on structural weldments, pressure vessels, piping systems, and structural components.

• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, powered hand tools, and material-handling devices.

• Follow shop drawings, ISO drawings, and weld symbols with strict accuracy.

• Perform field fitment and assist in the assembly of piping and structural systems.

• Communicate instructions to junior technicians and interact with engineering staff.

• Train in related skills as needed and support various welding and fabrication tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

• 2–5 years of welding experience in pipe and/or structural environments.

• Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings, ISO drawings, and weld symbols.

• Proficiency in multiple welding processes, including multi-position welding.

• Ability to understand complex instructions and collaborate with engineering teams.

• Knowledge of piping and structural systems and related tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Work in environments with heated metals, noise, fumes, grinding dust, and outdoor exposure.

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move large solid objects (lifting assistance available).
