Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to perform chemical and instrumental analyses on fuels, oils, and lubricants using standard ASTM and TJP methods. This role involves preparing solutions, transferring samples, performing daily calculations, and maintaining laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical and instrumental analyses on fuels, oils, and lubricants.

• Prepare solutions for tests and transfer samples within the laboratory.

• Maintain lab workbooks, charts, and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Perform calculations, plot graphs, and record data as required.

• Operate laboratory equipment such as analytical balances, filtering apparatus, and fume hoods.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Support additional lab duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college-level chemistry preferred.

• Basic computer, laboratory, and hand tool knowledge.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

• Self-starter with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and work in standing/walking positions for extended periods.

• Flexibility to work day or evening shifts and occasional weekends.

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking, and sitting for long periods.

• Frequent bending, stooping, and full range of motion with hands/arms.

• Lifting up to 50 lbs without assistance.
