This client specializes in manufacturing modular CO, LPG, and LNG liquefaction plants, as well as low-temperature process refrigeration systems. Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting welding inspections on fabricated piping and structural steel.

  • Verifying dimensions of fabricated piping and structural steel.

  • Recording welding and material traceability information in project documentation.

  • Coordinating non-destructive examination (NDE) activities with third-party testing companies.

  • Performing welder qualification testing for potential welding candidates.

  • Completing internal checklists accurately for inspections conducted.

  • Documenting product deficiencies clearly and following up with production for corrective action.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs

  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality control

  • 3 years of experience in fabrication

  • Familiarity with NDE methods such as radiographic testing (RT) and penetrant testing (PT)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

 

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to excessive noise, extreme temperatures, or heights.

  • Typical noise levels in a fabrication shop environment; ear protection may be provided as needed.

  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
