Tasks and Responsibilities:

Conducting welding inspections on fabricated piping and structural steel.

Verifying dimensions of fabricated piping and structural steel.

Recording welding and material traceability information in project documentation.

Coordinating non-destructive examination (NDE) activities with third-party testing companies.

Performing welder qualification testing for potential welding candidates.

Completing internal checklists accurately for inspections conducted.

Documenting product deficiencies clearly and following up with production for corrective action.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Proficiency in MS Office programs

3 years of experience in manufacturing quality control

3 years of experience in fabrication
-
Familiarity with NDE methods such as radiographic testing (RT) and penetrant testing (PT)

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Education Requirements:

High School Diploma
Physical Requirements:

Occasional proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to excessive noise, extreme temperatures, or heights.

Typical noise levels in a fabrication shop environment; ear protection may be provided as needed.
