We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our finance department. This individual will play a vital role in acquiring, negotiating, and procuring goods and services. The ideal candidate should have a solid track record in procurement, ideally within the industrial or construction sectors, possessing a deep understanding of project-based ERP systems. Experience in negotiating vendor terms and conditions, coupled with a strong ability to drive cost savings without compromising quality, is highly desired.
Salary is $75,000 to $80,000 + 10% bonus based on profitability
Key Responsibilities:

Procure goods and services in line with established policies and procedures.

Enhance organizational efficiency by implementing and managing a streamlined purchase order process.

Utilize Vista procurement systems for accurate and efficient procurement management.

Collaborate closely with operations and finance teams, including project managers, to achieve cost-saving objectives and organizational targets.

Evaluate, select, and sustain vendor relationships based on quality, cost, reliability, and other pertinent factors.

Optimize vendor rebate programs to maximize potential and ensure adherence to regulations.

Negotiate vendor terms and conditions to secure favorable pricing, payment structures, and service contracts.

Engage with internal stakeholders to comprehend procurement needs and specifications.

Monitor and address vendor performance concerns promptly.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process enhancements within procurement.

Maintain meticulous records of procurement activities and expenditures.

Stay abreast of market trends, industry advancements, and procurement best practices.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in procurement operations.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

5-7 years of procurement experience, preferably in industrial or construction settings with project-based ERP systems.

Demonstrated proficiency in negotiating vendor agreements and securing advantageous terms.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
