SA Manufacturing is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Service Technician to join a dynamic, proven, and reputable commercial refrigeration technology company that has been in business for 50+ years.
Pay Rate: $30/hr + Depending upon Experience
Shift: Monday-Friday business hours (overtime available)
Location: San Antonio and/or Austin
Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and related equipment.

Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance.

Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in refrigeration systems, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.

Repair or replacement parts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Handle refrigerants responsibly, following environmental regulations and safety guidelines.

Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma/Equivalent

3 + years’ experience Refrigeration Service experience

Completed a relevant vocational or technical training program in refrigeration or HVAC.

EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants.

Familiarity with a variety of commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Proficient in using tools and equipment specific to refrigeration systems.

Knowledge of electrical systems and controls.
