CNC Programmer Machinist – Day Shift
Pay: $30/hour and up, depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer Machinist to join our team on the day shift. The ideal candidate will have strong programming and machining skills with HAAS lathes and mills, including 5-axis milling, and be comfortable with both conversational and offline CAM programming.
Responsibilities:
Program CNC lathes and 5-axis mills using conversational controls and CAM software.
Develop efficient toolpaths with proper tool selection, speeds, and feeds to achieve precision results.
Set up CNC machines, including tooling, fixtures, and raw materials.
Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components per engineering specifications.
Select and optimize cutting tools to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Perform in-process and final inspections to verify parts meet quality standards.
Collaborate with the quality team to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment (required).
Proficient in setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
Experience with HAAS controls and CAM software.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
