Job Title: Shipping Clerk / Material Handler
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime on Saturdays as needed)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk / Material Handler to join our team in Broken Arrow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling, preparing, and shipping materials, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, packing, and arranging transportation.
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
Verify shipping documents and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
Perform regular inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and management.
Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.
Work overtime on Saturdays as required to meet shipping demands.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping software.
Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified).
Dependable, punctual, and able to work overtime when necessary.
