Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Endocrinology Clinic
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay rate- $24-$26hr
Position Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Endocrinology Clinic plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients with endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary conditions. The LPN works closely with endocrinologists and other members of the healthcare team to support patient assessment, education, treatment, and follow-up care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and updating medical records.
Perform point-of-care testing, such as blood glucose monitoring and A1C testing.
Administer medications and injections, including insulin and other endocrine-related medications, as prescribed.
Educate patients on managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, including insulin usage, glucometer operation, and lifestyle management.
Prepare patients for minor procedures and assist providers during exams and treatments.
Manage prescription refills and prior authorizations in coordination with providers.
Schedule lab tests, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow and positive patient experience.
Qualifications:
Licensure: Current, unrestricted LPN license in [State].
Experience: Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience preferred; endocrinology or chronic disease management experience a plus.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
