Job Title: Shipping Lead
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Department: Manufacturing – Shop
Day Shift 7am-3:30pm
Summary:
The Shipping Lead supports and guides the shipping/receiving team to efficiently process shipments, product receipts, DMRs, and RMAs. This hands-on role involves overseeing daily shipping operations, training team members, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support shipping/receiving team members
Process and verify shipments via systems like DHL, UPS, FedEx, etc.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues
Maintain documentation accuracy (packing slips, BOLs, POs)
Organize and prioritize workflow
Ensure tools and information are available to the team
Run small 5S projects and audit work processes
Work evenings/weekends as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum one year of relevant experience
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally
Proficient in using business systems and shipping portals
Time management and problem-solving skills
