Pay: $18-23 DOE | Temp to Hire
Night Shift | Mon-Thur 3pm-2:00am (once fully trained, with a $1 differential) Train on 1st shift then move to 2nd shift
Catoosa manufacturer is seeking a welder for their climate controlled shop!
Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in fitting and welding structural items. ( ex.. platforms, tubing, sheet metal, plate, pipe, enclosures)
- Must be proficient in MIG welding carbon steel and stainless steel
- Must be proficient in FCAW (fluxcore) and Metal Core welding carbon steel
- Must be able to fit up small and large assemblies with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs by hand.
- Must be comfortable with measuring and fitting equipment like tape measures, carpenter squares, levels, band saws, grinders, etc etc (this line should not be a problem if the candidates fall into the above categories)
- Bonus points if proficient with Tig welding carbon, stainless and aluminum.
The right candidates will have a good work ethic, proper transportation, willing and able to work alone on projects as well as be a valuable member of a team on larger scale projects. The candidate should be a turnkey employee meaning that little to no training will be required in regards to fitting, and all the welding processes listed above. They need to have good recent job history.
Base Compensation:
18-23/hr
Additional compensation:
Shift Differential: 1.00/hr
Night Shift Lead: 1.00/hr (please understand that there will only be 1 Lead, and only qualified candidates will be considered)
Work Schedule: Over time is occasionally required for all shifts
During interviews and if/when a candidate is selected, they will need steel toed boots to be in the shop. The interview will consist of face to face time with client, and then some time will be spent in the shop performing some welds. If a candidate is selected, shortly after their start date, he/she will be required to pass a bend test for all processes and materials listed above in order for us to qualify the welder under our AWS welding certifications.
