Job Title: Grinder/Welder Operator

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule: Will train on day shift first, then move to night shift. 3:00pm-1:30am, Monday-Thursday. 

Pay: $16 – $20/hr DOE

Additional $1/hour for evening shift


Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated Grinder/Welder Operator to join our fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are new to the welding industry or recent graduates from welding programs looking to gain experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel of various gauges
  • Grind and prep metal components for finishing or further fabrication
  • Operate a brake press as needed (training provided)
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines


Requirements:

  • Basic MIG welding skills (carbon steel focus)
  • Familiarity with metal grinding and hand tools
  • Willingness to learn and train on brake press operation
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or fabrication instructions
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to grow in the trade
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Open to working evenings (additional pay applies)


Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent welding school graduate or someone with basic industry experience
  • Looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, skilled team environment
  • Open to learning new machinery and fabrication processes
