Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Tulsa, OK

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $18-$19 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of materials, and supporting the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring that the correct parts are received in good condition.
• Read and interpret blueprints to verify the accuracy and specifications of parts and materials received.
• Use a tape measure to verify dimensions of incoming parts to 1/16” or better.
• Accurately record and label inventory items as they are received.
• Prepare and package items for shipping according to company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs and reports.
• Assist in organizing inventory in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval of parts.
• Ensure that all shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and safe.
• Operate a forklift (preferred but not required).
• Be available for occasional overtime, including weekends (Saturday or Sunday) when necessary to meet shipping deadlines (this occurs infrequently).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure parts using a tape measure to 1/16” or better.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
• Forklift operation experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
