Job Title: Forklift Operator – Recycling & Facility Support
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm
Pay: $18/hr
Position Summary:
The Forklift Operator – Recycling & Facility Support is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to manage the facility’s cardboard recycling and trash removal. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment by transporting waste and recyclable materials to designated areas while supporting overall facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a sit-down forklift to collect, transport, and dispose of cardboard and trash.
Manage facility recycling by organizing and staging cardboard for proper disposal.
Ensure all waste and recyclable materials are moved to designated collection points on schedule.
Assist with general facility support tasks as needed to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues.
Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures for forklift operation and material handling.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure waste management processes run smoothly.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift required (certification preferred).
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Dependable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
