The Customer Service Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in providing professional and friendly support to patients, families, and staff. This position is responsible for answering incoming calls, resolving or directing inquiries, and handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth departmental operations.
? Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and timely manner
Direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel as needed
Respond to general inquiries about services, policies, or appointments
Document call information and follow up as required
Support customer service representatives with filing, data entry, and correspondence
Maintain and organize electronic and paper records
Prepare and send routine communications (letters, emails, notices)
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes as needed
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and helpful service
Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned
?? Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative support role preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of healthcare or clinic operations is a plus
EPIC experience is a plus, but not required
