Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Flatbed Driver to join our transportation team. As a Flatbed Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently using flatbed trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a flatbed truck to transport goods to various destinations.
Secure loads to ensure safe transportation and prevent damage.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
Perform routine maintenance and report any vehicle issues.
Qualifications:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience in flatbed trucking required.
Ability to secure and tarp loads.
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to load and unload cargo.
