Job Summary:
Support the Bubble Line Production Lead in the manufacturing of bubble material, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity. The assistant is expected to learn all aspects of the production process in order to step in when the Lead is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Operator with the start-up and shut-down of the machine
Bag and tag finished materials accurately
Store finished materials in the correct locations
Meet and exceed productivity goals and expectations, while maintaining a focus on safety
Use a computer and scanner to log time and productivity
Learn all aspects of the production process to be able to step in as an operator when needed
Forklift certified (or willing to obtain certification)
Ability to lift, move, and push up to 50 pounds
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Three or more years of relevant work experience
Ability to use a computer
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Schedule: Monday – Thursday| 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
