  • Performs administrative and clerical functions for Accounts Payable.
  • Oversees Accounts Payable email and forward to applicable specialist.
  • Picks up, receives, opens, logs, sorts, stamps, and distributes Accounting’s mail.
  • Emails and calls departments to follow-up on invoices.
  • Reviews statements, marks paid invoices, requests invoices we do not have, and follows-up on invoices we do have.
  • Pulls and files checks for reissue, travel, and document inquiry requests. 
  • Mails checks on Friday’s and as needed throughout the week. 
  • Point of contact for Accounts Payable and Payroll Check pickup, creates weekly log, notifies individuals via email/calls when ready for pickup, and ensures proper identification is provided and signature obtained on weekly log during pickup. (Explains process to new hires during one of their stops on the New Employee’s Orientation tour)
  • Point of contact for Walmart credit card checkout, creates log, ensures proper identification is provided and signature obtained when signing cards in/out, and provides a copy of the receipt to the department, and provides the original to the applicable Accounting Specialist.
