We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for a large customer. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for 250+ employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in high-volume payroll environments, and confident managing payroll independently or with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:

Process full-cycle payroll for 250+ employees on a bi-weekly basis

Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity across all systems

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices

Handle payroll tax reporting and filings

Manage new hire onboarding and termination payroll actions

Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and timekeeping

Generate reports for accounting, auditing, and management as needed

Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data

Assist with year-end payroll processes including W-2s and related reporting
Requirements:

3+ years of experience in payroll administration

Direct experience processing payroll for 250 or more employees

Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, or similar)

Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a multi-state payroll environment

Exposure to benefits administration and HRIS systems

Knowledge of Excel and reporting tools
-
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) a plus
