Role Description
The Foundation Finance and Engagement Officer plays a dual role, combining accounting expertise with partner engagement to support ministries and nonprofit organizations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, processing contributions and disbursements, reconciling accounts, and supporting investment portfolio management. The role also involves serving as a key contact for ministry partners, delivering financial statements, supporting donor engagement initiatives, and upholding values of trust, service, and stewardship in all interactions.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in nonprofit finance or accounting roles

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel

Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for ministry and service

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to excellence

Preferred: Experience with fund accounting and investment reporting

Preferred: Familiarity with donor-advised funds, endowments, or church finance
