Job Title: Window and Door Replacement Technician Location: Grant County, Adams County and surrounding counties. Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $22.00/hr. to $25.00/hr. Depending on the Experience Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Window and Door Replacement employee to join our local client’s dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the removal and installation of windows and doors, ensuring precise measurements, efficient installation, and high-quality finishes. Key Responsibilities: • Remove old windows and doors and prepare openings for new installations. • Install new windows and doors, ensuring they are level, secure, and properly sealed. • Measure and cut materials to fit installation spaces accurately. • Install trim, hardware, and weather stripping. • Ensure all installations meet company standards and customer specifications. • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients. • Perform quality checks and adjustments to installations as needed. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations. • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time. • Some travel may be expected. 1/2 travel time is paid. Transportation will be provided. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus. • Pre-Employment Drug Screen • Proven experience as a window and door technician or similar role. • Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to window and door installation. • Strong understanding of construction methods and building codes. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Shift and Hours: • Monday Through Friday and Saturday’s when needed. Hours may vary depending on the job- 8hrs. to 12-hour days.
